The Problem: Lost in Transit

Product managers needed a clear, client-facing map to help future customers understand the scope and flow of their product. The working document I received was a Miro board, which is functional for internal use, but too dense and unstructured to communicate effectively to an outside audience.

My task was to translate that complexity into something accessible and visually coherent.

The Solution: Subway Maps

Inspired by metropolitan subway maps, which distill complex systems into clear and navigable paths, I developed a new visual approach to communicate the same information from the original Miro board.

This redesign required asking many clarifying product questions to ensure accuracy and help stakeholders understand the flow of the product for both students and teachers.

I chose a standard 1920 × 1080 format for versatility; easy to display on screens or drop into a sales presentation.

Illustration Exploration

To align the content with the brand experience, I explored several illustrative styles, considering the audience, and visual consistency before landing on the final direction.
