Making a Modern Classic

As Interim Marketing Design Lead at the Dallas Museum of Art, I led the design of communication materials for the public to engage with museum programming.
Artifacts is a quarterly member magazine that has highlighted exhibitions, donors, and museum events for decades to increase membership and museum donations. While redesigning this publication, my goal was to marry the classic legacy of the Dallas Museum of Art with the contemporary minimalism that speaks to a modern design aesthetic. Some of the colors and shapes of these layouts were inspired by the physical exhibition spaces themselves, like Speechless: Different by Design.
